Ladbrokes Poker – Multi Table Tournament Problem
Category: Poker
Ladbrokes poker.com – This is an aspect of the game that I used to be quite adept at, with MTT’s being my favourite form of the game.
The problem I found today, is that our skills can get rusty if not used for some time. That’s not to say I haven’t played any MTT’ recently, I do so every week, but the difference is that I have been playing smaller tournaments with around 30-200 entrants each tournament.

This is a comfortable sized tournament for me, and can be approached with the usual solid stack building early on, followed by the push towards the final table afterwards. I have found today though I get a little lost in the middle of tournaments with several thousand players. After building my stack to a comfortable level, I find that I am torn between two problems with a considerable distance to go before the final table. If I keep getting involved in pots, the risk of having one or two successive portions of very harsh luck will increase.
This one hand gone wrong, can often result in a chipstack being quickly damaged, and then it’s a difficult task to recover. With this in mind, I tend to tighten up a little, with the inevitable problem that whilst some players will be eliminated, others will build bigger stacks and when I start getting involved again, I only need to take one big hit to be severely damaged. Perhaps this middle phase of lengthy tournaments is my current weak point, but I have to work on it if I wish to compete successfully with these large fields. I shall write further on the subject when I rediscover what my play is lacking, and in the meantime, shall puncuate my larger tournaments with my favoured smaller scale MTT’s. Ladbrokes poker.com
