www.ladbrokes.com – Any player that is starting out on their poker playing journey will find that as the months and years begin to pass, you will slowly accumulate memories of this game which will vary from the incredible, to the wonderful. Poker has always been such that when you think your fate is sealed, there is always a chance, as long as there is one card left in the deck to save you. You cannot ever rely on these slim chances by any means, but it is often they, which create some of the most frustrating and joyous moments in poker.

My memories of poker are fond and numerous, spanning seven years, and include early games being played on park benches (windy days were a nightmare), through to playing in college, and then on to playing regular live tournaments.
There are hands from even those earliest days that I can still recall now, and that is part of the wonder of the game for me. There is a more serious side to poker memories of course, and that is the fact that they form the very basis of our skill improvements.
Lessons always seem to be better remembered when they are learned the hard way I find, and poker sometimes seems to even enjoy teaching it’s lessons the hard way. The fact of the matter is though, that every bad session playing poker, will always be able to teach you something about how to improve. You have to really try and take the positives out of the situation in poker by examining, and improving upon, the negative sides to your game. Ladbrokes Poker

www.celebpocker.com – With the growth of internet poker, has come many varieties of game on offer. By this I do not mean games which are different in their fundamental rules, but different formats of the same games we all know and love. I particularly found the bounty tournaments an innovative idea, with prizes being paid for the number of people you eliminate rather than how long you survive.

This encourages a proactive game as opposed to a passive one and can be very enjoyable to play in. Other types of tournament available these days include the traditional MMT and STT, sometimes with twists thrown in such as rebuys, whether free or requiring further financial input. In terms of free rebuys, I was involved in a game today where each player could rebuy twice for no cost at whatever point in the game they wished, regardless of how many chips they had. This gives a chance to give yourself a full stack of 3,000 chips to work with from the start, or to hold back your two rebuys for when you need them most.
Online play has also brought with it tournaments which award prizes of seats in bigger tournaments, until you have one final game with a considerable prize pool.
All these interesting new developments in poker games continue to grow further, as poker rooms strive to offer a type of tournament to suit everyones tastes. Along with the aforementioned tournament types, freerolls have also been a very helpful to new players, giving them a chance to rebuild a small bankroll if they run out of funds. Celebpocker.com
