Little did he know that Eastgate holding (A,5) had made a wheel on the same card and as you would imagine, there was no getting away for a short stacked Demidov. He picked up $5,809 595 for 2nd place, and by anyones stanards, has had a great year. It was Eastgates day however, and he will be written into the history books after an intrueging final table, walking away with a fabulous $9,152,416 for 1st place. Roll on next year.
